had been written today perhaps the Sweet Prince would say, “There are more things in the cost of production, Horatio, than are covered by your ticket price.”* It is often said that tickets sales only cover 40% of the cost of running a theater. Sadly, this is true. To keep Burien Little Theatre alive and vibrant we look to the community for support.
Burien
Little Theatre is a not-for-profit (IRS 501(c)(3)) entity. We are
staffed by volunteers. So, 100% of your tax-deductible contribution
goes toward the production of the highest quality better live theater, our
day-to-day costs and capital improvements.
We depend upon the kindness of strangers and friends. To survive we need good old cash, in-kind donations, and volunteers. Burien Little Theatre is beginning its 27th season, and Burien’s 52nd year of community theater. Today is the time for you to become part of the community in community theater by sending us as little as $5.00 or enough to buy the house next door to Bill Gates. The amount you send is not as nearly as important as the fact you make a donation and become a supporter.
